The Academy for Teach and Learning (ATL) Teaching Fellow will teach introductory-level STEM courses and develop and implement programs to enhance STEM education. The ATL Teaching Fellow may also conduct research on teaching and learning in STEM courses, make presentations to university instructors related to teaching and learning, contribute to STEM curriculum development, initiate and/or manage grant proposals for external funding in STEM disciplines, create materials for STEMeducators, and provide training for teaching assistants and/or graduate student instructors of record.

 

Required Qualifications include a doctoral degree in a STEM discipline in hand at the start of the appointment.

 

The ideal candidate will have:
• demonstrated experience in teaching
• strong interests in education research and familiarity with the scholarship of teaching and learning
• experience in grant proposals and/or grant project management
• strong oral and written communication skills
